I’m on a daily dose of an anti depressant/anxiety medication and I think the therapist said no smoking or drinking while on it, but I’m really not sure, I can’t exactly remember. So would smoking while on this cause anything bad?

My Dr. put me on a med from an entirely different family of meds..It was awful and made me put on 25 lbs in a short time..I came off the med, and I’m on the cabbage soup diet..But she says If I can’t sleep take one..Or take a Trazodone… I get reg. sleeping pills from my other doctor….Don’t they realize how mind altering these medications are???

Cholesterol Medication And Red Yeast Rice Not Working For My Father – Any Natural Suggestions?
Hi, my father recently had his second stent put in; he had gone off his lipitor and the doctors said he’d better get back on it. The side effects were so bad (weakness, pain in limbs) he had to stop taking it. I did some research and told him to take red yeast rice and Co-Q10, but he’s still having bad effects. I’m wondering if there are other ways (besides diet – he’s been on a pretty lean diet for a while & exercises 30 minutes/day) to reduce his cholesterol? Thanks.
