I Have A 1997 Honda Civic And I Want To Rebuild The Engine. How Much Would It Cost To Make It Good As New?

I’m not sure if it matters but it has about 236k miles on it. It runs well with no problems; the is just a little tired, and I think it’s time for a revamping.

    I see those ads in free cars-for-sale mags for rebuilt import engines for like $500. That is just the engine, plus another $500 or more for labor to actually take it out and put it back in.

    It’s a Honda… with 236k miles on it… It still has 50k miles left before the seals run out..
