How Much Does It Cost To Rent A Car In Istanbul For A Week?

Hi! We are going to Istanbul for a in July. It’s our first time there. We were thinking about renting a car for the . How would it ? Is the GPS system there reliable? Will the car have a GPS? Otherwise, are directions easy, are maps good to use? Do you think it’s a good idea. All info would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

You posted to wrong category, i reckon. Istanbul is in Turkey.
Well, Car rentals are starting from 25 Euro per day. But a decent car might be around 40 Euro per day. Navigation system isnt reliable as much as UK or Japan though they rent out cars with navigation systems. But it also means additional 10 + 15 euro per day which wouldnt worth.
Maps are okay, but Istanbul traffic is a little bit wild comparing to other cities. So if i were you i wouldnt rent a car. I would use mass transportation which is easier & cheaper. Just use metro or bus. they will take you to any province of istanbul. Also its another beauty to pass Bosphorus by steamboat and drink tea on boat. ( no steams though )
So renting car would cost around at least 350 Euro + being nervous at Istanbul traffic + high gas prices which you would pay 100 Euro more .
Just use mass transportation its better. ( would cost at most 200 Euro even you go everywhere with cab )
Also visit Rumelia Fortress for eating fish, Nevizade for hi-jinks which tourist guides generally dont recommend.
    Have fun :)
