Is It Okay To Use Clorox 2 Powder With My Cloth Diapers?

I just bought about 12 pairs of fuzzi bunz and i was wondering if it was a good idea to use clorox 2 with the detergent when washing? Any suggestions?

NO, Clorox 2 is not a bleach at all, it will actually coat the fabric with a chemical to make them brighter, you will have wonderfully bright water repellent diapers. Only a free and clear enzyme free detergent on dipes, nothing with softeners or strong scents.

No. You shouldn’t use any bleach product, or any product with whiteners, brighteners, fabric softeners, scents, additives, etc. on your diapers when it comes to regular washing. You may find after several months, however, that the inserts need to be stripped (if you use the microfiber ones the dipes came with). If so, your last resort should be regular bleach.

I used bleach on mine to disinfect them, then rinsed twice to make sure I got the bleach out.
