How To Wash Cloth Diapers With Baking Soda And Vinegar?
I am wanting to use baking powder and vinegar to hopefully help my cloth diapers last longer. Do i just put the powder where the laundry soap would go and the vinegar where the fabric softener would go? What about borax? Would that be better than baking soda?

What type of cloth diapers are you using?
You are supposed to use an additive free detergent for diapers.
I have heard of people using vinegar to rinse prefolds. But I would not use it on any other types of diapers.
I have several types of diapers: all in ones, prefolds, pockets, fitted, and some bamboo fitted. I usually just wash mine all together with Planet Ultra laundry detergent powder.

Well, first of all, make sure you use baking *soda* and not baking powder.
I put the baking soda in with the detergent (I use baking soda *and* a cloth diaper friendly detergent – Charlie’s Soap, actually – just a tiny, tiny bit). I put the vinegar in the bleach compartment *and* in the softener department with a few drops of tea tree oil in with it.
I would use baking soda instead of Borax. It’s a little gentler.
Line drying will also help your diapers last longer – especially if you have any PUL diapers.
