How Do You Prevent Your Jeans From Wearing Out Thin?
and getting a hole that expands in the thigh part of your jeans?
My friend and I do not* understand it-Yes, we wear jeans everyday. Yes we only have a few pairs. But why does the fabric by our thighs thin out, get fabric fuzzies or bumps and then a hole emerges. And how is this prevented?

That happened to my favorite pair of jeans! I had them for like 3 years. Which is a record since I’m in high school now and I still grow like an inch a year.
If the hole really opens up and becomes noticeable, you could sew a soft fabric on the inside of the jeans that match the color. You may have to do this every so often for upkeep. Depending on what the holes look like, it could be kind of cute to put a patterned fabric there and a few other places (like distress them and sew fabric behind the new holes) to match.
