How Do I Get Rid Of Fuzzies And Pills On Sweaters?
I have a cashmere sweater that i have to wear tomorrow. Its got fuzzies all over it and some pilling. If I cant get a fabric shaver and I dont want to spend forever working on it with scissors, how can i get rid of it?

Darn those fuzzies and pills! They appear wherever the fabric is rubbed against eachother and are annoying, right? Because simply picking at it is tedious and you might snag a string and unravel it, scissors are a safe and less time consuming bet. Or, do you have a lint roller? That would take care of the fuzzies and some of the pills. Washing it could work, too. Just make sure the lint collector in your dryer is empty so it will collect the fuzzies and make the pills more obvious (and easier to remove).

There is a device you can find in most large stores that simply will cut off all those pills w/o harming the fabric. It would probably be near vacuums, near the lint rollers, which are also useful. Ask someone in the store. I have had one for years.

If your problem is what Im thinking of then try a disposable razor to shave them off.
