Yes, it is great for their coat as well as their skin.

yes I have done this and it works. It also helps with dogs who have dry skin.Fish oils have a lot of nutrients that your dog needs.Of course it will take a little time before you notice the difference.I’d give it a couple of months before you see the difference. But soon after wards there should be a noticeable shine and gloss to your dogs coat.

Yup, it works. So does giving the dog a whole raw egg every day.

If you give your dog a good dog food, you will not need any oil. I’ve always been told,to give the dog a egg once a week to make their coat shiny. And a dog will eat an egg before they will eat fish oil.

Yes Salmon oil is very good for the dogs skin and coat. I don’t add any to my dogs food anymore because the food I feed them already contains it, it’s also a good source of Omega 3 and 6
I used to feed my dogs this brand of Salmon Oil before I started feeding them the food they’re eating now. http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/products/K…

Actually a well balanced diet with a good dry dog food will give a good shiny coat but I have always put bacon drippings on their dog food.
I am not sure if it is the balance diet of the dry dog food that does this but as long as the bacon drippings doesn’t seem to hurt them I will continue the practice as they really love it.
Be careful not to give too much of any additive to dog food as it can mess with their bowels and you could wake up to an accident on the floor.

Yes, it is very good for the dogs coat. You get the omega3 salmon oil I believe. It makes their coat shiny and helps with dogs who have thinning hair. Read this link.http://www.judyshealthcafe.com/fishoil.h…

Yes, fish oil is an excellent source of Omega 3! I use the same supplement as FairlyErica, 3V Capsules. It also comes in a liquid. I have a dog with allergies, and it really helps his skin. Check with your vet on types and dosages of supplements. Too much can cause diarrhea.

Absolutely, Omega 3s are healthy and very important (for you too!!). We use a brand we use is called 3V Caps. If you use straight fish oil (NOT cod liver oil), make sure to add vitamin E for absorbtion. The kind we use comes with vitamin already in.
