Does Base Coat Keep Polish From Staining Nails?

So I want to paint my but everytime I do when I remove the my nails are left stained yellow and its disgusting!! will using a prevent this???what base is best also?

    the reason they are turning yellow is because you are keeping the polish on there too long…
    But, if you put a base coat on it does help keep the polish from staining your nails.
    OR YOU COULD HAVE A DISEASE!!!

    sometimes i just wear just base coat and it still stains my nails yellow i guess you just have to change it regularly
