Does Anyone Know How To Clean Butter Out Of A Suede Jacket?
I was stirring some mashed potatoes for my mother and it splashed my brand new suede jacket. I dabbed it out with a towel, but it left big dark stains on the jacket.

Try baby powder or corn starch on the stain. Sprinkle it on, work it in w/a soft brush – let set for maybe half an hour and brush it off. This will have to be repeated. Maybe a shoe repair store can recommend a cleaning solution product for you.

DONT TOUCH IT! We see this all the time! Take it to your dry cleaner immediatly. Don’t rub the stain or put ANY stain remover on it as the suede will not be able to be repaired. The sooner the better.
