Boxer Shorts Or Briefs For A 4 Year Old Boy?
Hi,it’s Sarah again,
I have one other question,my 4 year old son Matt currently wears briefs but he is very interested in boxer shorts,we were in k-mart in the boys department and he saw boxer shorts hanging up and wanted me to but him some,but I didn’t and he put up a real fuss,
what are others’ opinions on putting him in boxer shorts instead of briefs?
I do not like the boxer briefs at all,so what is better for a 4 year old boy;boxer shorts or briefs?

i don’t think it really matter what a little boy wears. as long as there comfotable, my son always wants the boxers as they have all the cool charaters etc… however he still has accidents now and then so i relutently bought the brifes with spiderman on them even thow it’s way more expensive then simple blue and white one. whatever you deiced fits for you and matt. maybe you can tell him he can have those boxers when he completly stops wetting himself.
i also find it hard to find boxers in sizes smaller then a 5

It’s the same as it is for men. Let him try them and see which he likes better. My son wears boxers to be like his daddy, and he’s 4 too.

It really doesn’t matter as far as one is right and one is wrong. It is what would be comfortable for him and in the long run you are the mom and he needs to wear what you buy for him.

boxers are far more comfortable – give the kid some breathing room and buy the little tyke some boxers~!!!

Whatever his Daddy wears (or othe positive role model) is usually best.. as he will see this as a sign of growing up and being like Daddy.
I don’t think there is a better or best in terms of anything.. other than what they are comfortable with.

Boxers are just healthier. Because his testicles can drop to cool themselves off. That is natural. Men who wear tidy whiteys have a higher chance of getting cancer in his testicles.

If he’s toilet trained I can’t see anything wrong with boxers. Otherwise an accidental poop will go on the floor. You’re the boss, he wears what you say.

I thought little boy boxers were the cutest thing and bought some for my son….what a hassle! It was nearly impossible to get his pants/shorts over the boxers. I don’t know what he prefers, as he’s never said anything either way, but I have him wear briefs because it’s easier for me and it seems more comfortable to him. Your son, however, seems to have an opinion. I would say it’s atleast worth a try with the boxers. You can even have a nice supply of both, until you find what works best for you and your son.
