I like to saute 1 cup of rice in 2 tsp of olive oil for 2-3 minutes over high heat. Then I add two cups of water, a tiny bit of salt, cover, and bring it to a boil. Then I reduce the heat to low and it takes about 50 minutes to cook. I have never had the problem of it being dry.

My husband had used the stove top and rice cooker and it always turns out dry. Can someone give me the right amount of water to use.
