Which One First- Catcher In The Rye Or To Kill A Mockingbird?
I picked up both today as they are on my to read list, and I am having a hard time deciding which to read first. Which would you choose and why?

It really doesn’t matter, they make a great pair of books for anyone to read.
I’d read the Catcher first, just because I love it so much, but it might make more sense to read Mockingbird first, that way you are reading them in the correct chronological order.
Enjoy!

Either one is a winner. If you want a strong moral message – then read To Kill a Mockingbird. If you want to psychologically analyze a work of literature with excellent prose – The Catcher in the Rye.
