What Is The Best Anti-virus For Macs?
Don’t tell me that macs dont get virus’, becuase they do! so does anyone know what software is recommended by apple?? or recomendations by personal experience. I don’t want something that is constantly running, but something I can use to scan and remove stuff periodically.. thank you

There are plenty, they have very similar ones to Windows, so just get what you would get for Windows (Norton for Mac is very good).
But honestly it’s not that important unless you want to get rid of harmless adware. I have been using Macs for 16 years and never have had a single virus (and I’m very liberal with where I go on the internet), and still don’t, I run a scan about twice a year and never see anything but adware… whereas I have had 4 viruses on my PC
If you are willing to pay for it though, better safe than sorry
