He’s on the All-defense team for a reason. He is put on there by the league and the fans. How is averaging 29.2 ppg in the playoffs overrated, maybe he’s good and you just cant see greatness when its right in front of your face. There is nobody who is more clutch in the league. If you can name a few go right ahead. I can’t name one person better than Kobe in making game winners or clutch shots. All you’re little “facts” to say Kobe is overrated are 100% false. You’re just a hater.

How everyone says hes clutch. Yeah he made like 7 game winners in the regular season, but how many did he attempt? Exactly.
Also, every time he tried a game winner in the PLAYOFFS, where it really matters, he came up short, delivering AIR BALLS
Example 1- Against the Thunder, he tried a game winner, GOT AN AIR BALL, but Gasol tipped it in. He was saved.
Example 2- Against the Suns, he tried the same thing, ANOTHER AAIR BALL but Artest saved him.
Kobe is a great player, not close to the best all time, but his clutch ability is highly overrated.

Your right they make him better than he is, dont get me wrong he is a top 2 player in the league LBJ is the best but the only thing that he is better than lbj at is his shot making ability.
What is overrated about him is his ability to get his teamattes involved u saw what he did in game seven without gasol fish and ron ron they woulda lost

Kobe is not that overated. Only in the sense that people either love him or hate him, there appears to be no in between. Look, he’s not as good as Jordan, but he is the best player to come into the league since Jordan. I think some of that has to do with the decline of quality play in the league in the first decade of this century but you can’t dispute his stats, his rings, playing with injury, and his clutch play (i don’t know that people really consider him the greatest defender but he can guard 3 positions). Does no one remember what he did to Portland and Sacramento (granted the kings go some horrible calls). I feel like people only have been watching Kobe for the past four or five years in trying to discredit him.

As “over rated” as he is, he is still a great player and has 5 championship rings. Kobe Bryant makes plays and gets results. Sure, even as a Laker fan I will admit it, he is a little bit over rated, but he is one of the best players in Basketball history, and great players are always over rated

kobe is a great player but at the same time, the most overrated player ever especially when he’s compared to the greatest Michael Jordan. Kobe fanboys are just laughable. They started to watch bball since like 2000 and talk shit too much as if they know some basketball.
