What Can You Use To Get The Anti Theft Lug Nuts Off Of My 2003 Vw Passat?

The Key to take the lug off was not in the car when I bought it. and the closest VW dealer is about 2 hours away. I got replacement lug sent to me hoping that a tire dealer around my area would have a master set but everybody I have talked to said they have to have the key. I was just wondering if anybody has taken these off with anything other than the wheel key.

My friend took his off with a giant plumbing wrench. There is a website called passatworld.com that may be able to help you out. Also you might be able to order it online. I use http://www.germanautoparts.com for parts . They are relatively inexpensive compared to the dealer.
I got scared thinking I might not have mine. So I checked the compartment by the tire and did not find it, so I looked in the glove compartment and there it was.

It all depends on what kind of lugs they are.
Are they OEM Wheel Lock or Aftermarket.
Most wheels shop have the special socket that they would have to hammer on to the Lug. Its the same tool they would use to remove stripped lugs.
    Good Luck.
