the catcher in the rye was way less boring but i think to kill a mocking bird had a better overall story and point.

I love Catcher in the Rye but…I’m gonna go with To Kill a Mockingbird because it was one of the first books I read as a child that really opened my eyes about the reality of pain and suffering.

I’ve read neither, but you and your friend arguing over which book is better is decidedly pointless. You can argue about which is a better book because there is no true way to measure the statistical quality of a book.
