Tokio Hotel – (fans) I Don’t Understand This Article?
Thanks I hope they last forever =)
(Is Tokio Hotel Falling)
At first glance, you think that it departed for a tour, a new wave of hysteria has been generated, as will the group is intact. They are there around the room. First arrived last Wednesday, with their camp equipment. A squadron of fans who arrived crescendo with every intention of being first in line for the eyes of Bill Kaulitz and his henchmen. Yesterday evening, there are fifty-five tents and a hundred people. It is very difficult because you have a big responsibility as a human, said Aurelian Binder, director of Zenith de Lille. They warned the police and the prefecture so that young people are framed in the best conditions. Patrols are established every two hours.
They come from everywhere. Organized according to concert dates. Each other to meet vital needs. Throw sharp quiz on training to kill waiting. And, more surprisingly, truant with the blessing of parents. Why they did not they decide to control this Tokiomania who turns the head of the working girls? “It is totally irresponsible on their part to leave based solely on minor roads in France and Europe. It is downtown, there may be anything, “protests Aurélien Binder.
Nevertheless, this diehard attitude proves to be the tree that hides the forest. The popularity of Tokio Hotel is in freefall. At last count, 3 600 tickets sold. Far from the flood of October 2007 where the tickets were pulled at the speed of lightning. Finding identical to the disks. Only 70 000 copies for the latest album Humanoid versus 215 000 for Zimmer 483. A pleasure already outdated to paraphrase Charles Aznavour?
“The fan has evolved, it went on. Culturally and emotionally, it comes and goes at that age. But it is surprising that the figures have dropped as much. No date is complete and Bercy province will not completely full, “says Guénaël Geay, international marketing director at Polydor. At the age of zapping nervousness and urgency futile teens change their group as wardrobe. This is the age where anything is possible. They throw to the winds what was previously adored. Because he must stick to the current fashion. Everything is handled on the ground of feeling, of feeling, delirium, the look of the image. And especially the ephemeral fad.
Girls who vanished at the slightest appearance of the group, which covered their bedroom posters, who collected frantically every object in the image of the training, have found other shoes to their feet. They now fill their iPod songs from Lady Gaga or the Black Eyed Peas. Even the new look of the hair singer Bill Kaulitz has not had its desired effect to enhance the image of the group. He had confused the outlet with the hair dryer features a crest of hen. “Keep in mind that Tokio Hotel is an extraordinary case,” said Guénaël Geay. What happened is exceptional because it was the first German band to be exported this way.
He said that the show is visually stunning with a huge stage structure, stairs, walkways and pyrotechnics. Perhaps the ultimate fireworks before swimming in the murky waters of almost nothing.

Basicly what the article is saying is that when TH first become a well known band, everyone was obsessed with them and couldn’t get enough of them. Now, with the changes they’ve made such as their new theme, fans are turning away from them and listening to everyday pop like the Black Eyed Peas. They’re CD sales have dropped down from 215 000$ to 70 000$ and tickets are barely being sold now.

Aw, I feel so horrible for them. :-$
Then again, this is part of being famous; you have your ups and downs.
It wouldn’t be realistic for TH to be at the peak of their career forever…
While TH changed their style, some TH fans also changed their taste in music and we’ve got to keep in mind that change is usually for the best.
I do think a lot of TH fans were disloyal to them though.
I personally know some “fans” who didn’t buy their Humanoid album because of Bill’s hair change…that is just plain stupid and we don’t need people like them in our fan community!
Hopefully things will pick up and TH will once again be the huge sensation they used to be.
We’re (fans) not the only ones to blame though, they’ve contributed to the lack of interaction between fans+the band too.
And though I’ve filled up my ipod with Lady Gaga, I still stay true to my favourite band. <3

“swimming in the murky waters of almost nothing.” well isn’t that just depressing?! Personally I like their old music a lot better. But I feel so bad because their just tryin new things, updating themselves. And their getting poo back. I think there are a lot of people who love and will always love tokio hotel no matter what but some are are iffy about their whole switcheroo on us. I’m not I still like their new album but yea I miss the old them. And some people do grow out of things. I mean were teens. I remember I was jobro crazy but then I grew older n they were too childish for me. Then I moved on to Tokio hotel. I feel I will never grow out of them they are simply amazing. Plus they realeased their album not too long ago so maybe they’re just having a slow start. Or maybe it’s just that album that every band has that just wasn’t as good as the others. Well whatever the reason I support them 100%!

not again
yeah I just read another interview/article 丰 αυτøṃατïṡсh posted and unfortunately Tokio Hotel’s fame has been going downhill. I guess their new looks and experimenting with a new sound didn’t work. wish people actually gave the album a listen. it was probably the cover (robot like Bill) which turned people away thinking the album was just about robots and such. I feel really bad for them right now. they do so much and their getting back so less.

Some people get stuck into listening to a certain type of music or a particular band because they have a pegged sound. I, for one, truly enjoy TH because having their music on my MP3 player is like having numerous bands and styles all in one. They are unique, yet delve into the emotion and theater of bands long ago (ie.Queen, Kiss, David Bowie). I like many types of music and genres, but few bands have so many songs that I truly like. Another bonus, is that I don’t get tired of his voice; for example, I like Marilyn Manson, but try listening to 5 songs in a row *shoots self* where as I could listen to TH all day.
