Left A Bean And Cheese Burrito Covered In Car For A Few Hours..still Good To Eat?
I went to Serranos last night, took home an entire bean and cheese only burrito, left it in the car in a to go box in about 70 degrees for about 3 hours. Stuck it in the fridge right when I got home.
Is it okay to eat after I microwave it or put it in the oven? I guess my only concern is the cheese, not the beans.
Thanks.

Basically, it’s up to you to try.
Usually, the rule is for dairy or meat two hours outside the fridge is max.
Seeing as how it’s hot in the car, and you already had it out of the fridge while in the restaurant, it’s probably not too good.
But there are times when I’m stubborn and I still want to eat it and I feel ok afterwards minus maybe some rumbling which the beans will probably cause anyway… heh.
But you probably won’t get terribly sick however, I think it’s been a little too long.
So do you wanna risk it?
