Is It Ok To Have A Lot Of Make Up?

I’m starting to feel like I’m obsessed with buying make up and making looks when I only really wear one make up to school. I’m 16 and in my make up case I have:
(excluding tools like brushes, eyelash curler etc.)
Eyeshadow Primer
3 eyeshadow cream duos
5 eyeshadow quads
3 single eyeshadows
1 eyeliner pen
1 eyeliner
1 two-in-one shadow liner (i dunno if it’s available in the US but I got it in hong kong)
1 liquid eyeliner
1 mascara
1 eyebrow pencil
1 eyebrow kit (it’s a compact with wax and )
1 pair of fake lashes
3 (different shades, pink, and a brownish-red one)
1 pressed powder
1 liquid concealer (i’m buying a cream one, liquid doesn’t cover my blemishes)
1 liquid
1 bronzing stick
6 lipglosses
3 lipsticks
I I look at my mom and my older sister, they don’t even have half as much make up as me :(

it’s nice that you have a big variety of makeup.
i suggest you not wear too much makeup at once. remember that the secret to wearing makeup is to still keep it looking natural (unless you’re going to a party etc.)

It’s perfectly ok to have a lot of makeup. Just don’t wear it all at once. That’s gross. All you should be wearing out in public being 16 is maybe blush, eye make up, and lip gloss. Anything more past that and your skin will take its toll when you’re 20.

LOL, I don`t think it`s a problem if you are into building a collection and having fun. It is a problem however if you continue to buy makeup for no apparent reason or your buying makeup that is too expensive all the time.
My family always gives me the same lecture. I have so much makeup because I have collected it over the years. I have not spent money wildly on makeup. I buy it every couple of weeks or so and usually it`s an inexpensive drugstore makeup product.
Just watch how much you spend or put a limit on how much you spend. I, like you have a ton of makeup, but it`s a hobbie and I love collecting it, so I`m never going to stop doing it, LOL.

That’s actuallt not even alot. Have you seen makeup collection videos on youtube? Search for it and trust me what you have is nothing to them. Also you have a reasonable amount of it. One pencil eyeliner, one mascara, etc. That’s reasonable. Some of them have 3 4 5 of turcoise eyeliner, 5 brown eyeliners they never use, etc.The girl in the video actually has a whole wall taken up just for her makeup storage. Creepy

It’s ok. Experimenting with makeup is fun! :D
Just as long as you don’t wear all that at one go, then it’s all good.

You do know that any make up opened needs to be thrown out in 3 months right? That’s due to bacteria building up on there once you use that. Who buys your stuff in this? That will be pricey. Also, any make up with mineral oil and/or talc is bad for the skin. It plugs pores and can cause break outs.

Its okay to have a lot but there does come a point when you have to stop, especially if you dont even wear it all.

As a guy, i would prefer a girl not to have a caked face, (trust me, you will look alot better without massive amounts of make-up on)
And MOST guys will feel this way, like a Tiny bit is ok (a really tiny amount) But not the whole face thing… not cool

Nothing wrong with it at all.
That’s tame compared to the women in my family.

no i think becoz if we start using at 16 it may affect our skin at 30
our skin becomes rough tight wrinkles develop fast it is better to apply only creams instead of make up to school
