Is Fruit Waste A Good Fertilizer? ?
I know that compost can be made up of just about any food waste. Basically what you didn’t finish can be turned into compost. However, if are growing a vegetable with your compost will it vary the flavor of your vegetable? With that said, if I use a compost high in fruits, will I produce a sweeter vegetable?

I read somewhere that you should limit the amount of citrus peel that you compost. I think that was because of the effect on the compost, not affecting the taste of veggies fertilized with it.

Citrus (and onions) should be limited in compost because of the volatile oils in them. It drives the worms away, which help a great deal in the breakdown process.
No, it will not make the veges sweeter.
