If You Had A Loaf Of Rye Bread How Would You Serve It?

My father make it into French Toast, but I don’t want to do that…

I love rye bread! Try it like this: Cut each slice into quarters, spread with dill dip (I buy it in the deli section of the grocery store), and top it with a slice of a good dill pickle (like Claussen’s). Delicious!
I also love it just toasted and buttered.

The only way Rye SHOULD be served is as a Reuben.

Um french rye toast? Blech! That can’t be right.
Try a polish sausage cut in half lengthwise with a dill pickle spear and swiss cheese and mustard. Maybe some sauerkraut too?
