If Melamine Which Is In Fertilizer Is Poisoning Pets Food Will It Not Poison Fertilized Human Food?
I have read that melamine is used to make hard plastics and is also an ingredient used in fertilizer.
It is blamed for the recent pet illness and deaths via wheat gluten in certain pet foods….. what then is the effect on humans who consume foods from farms whose crops are grown using fertilizer with the ingredient melamine?

Fertilizers break down into simpler components. According to the FDA, it is used in Asia. As you know much of Asia has heavy rains and the fertilizer requirements thus would be different. Melamine isn’t used as fertilizer here.
