I Really Want To Eat More Healthy But I Really Hate Vegatables Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions?
Right now I eat fast food like 70% of the time but I need to stop. A girl can only eat so many pieces of fruit before she goes insane. I hate onions, peppers(all kinds) mushrooms, certain cheeses, cabbage, broccolli, avacados, radishes, squash, celery, and you pretty much get the picture. This makes it very diffucult to find and make healthy recipes to make for myself so I usually end up at the drive thru. Does anyone know any healthy “tasty” snacks I could try?

It may not be the actual vegetable that you are eating that you do not like, but the way that it is prepared. Try grilling your vegetable, it gives them a whole different flavor. I have picky kids and I sneak veggies into dishes, like putting celery, carrot, mushrooms, zucchini and squash into the food processor and then add to my red sauce. I also add veggies to casseroles for color. Like broccoli into my chicken alfredo cassarole. I put lemon juice on my asparagus or sprinkle it with cheese. You will be amazed a how much you can intergrate veggies into your favorite recipes and not change or even enhance the flavors of these dishes. Good luck and have fun experimenting.

you hate all those foods because you are addicted to something bad for you (fast food). if you slow down and start actually tasting those things you might like them.
yes it’s hard to eat pieces of fruit. that’s how it’s supposed to be.
try nuts, raw nuts. peanuts or cashews, not roasted in oil.

When you go to the grocery store, force yourself to ONLY shop in meat and produce. Try a vegetable you haven’t tried before. You can also let yourself look in the frozen section ONLY at prepared vegetables – some of them have light sauces on them.
Do you at least eat salad? Put some chicken or tuna on it. Oh, and there’s these little cans of tuna from Bumblebee that have spices in them (tomato or thai or lemon) that are good for snacking. They’re better if you buy whole-wheat crackers to substitute for the white ones they give you.
Also, healthfood stores often have interesting pre-made vegetarian things to consider. Dips like tabbouleh or hummus aren’t too bad, either.

I hide them in the food.
I chop them up so small and add them to meatloaf, mashed potatoes, dressings and fruit salads.
I mix fruits and veggie to get her in a all sorta things.
Eat veggies with less flavor to add bulk
Celery, apples and nuts in jello.
Spinach, garlic, bacon, mushrooms, chopped celery, yellow onion in my eggs in the morning. add cheeses
Here is an I HATE- secret- it is the smell- marinate them in another sauce, chop them up very small. Don’t use strong smelling onions- purple or green chives are lesser flavored.
Use things you love and add them to it- a favorite dip- make a DIP to go with it.
Avocados with maple syrup and milk with a hint of apple juice makes a great shake.
Raw nuts are wonderful.

I hate to tell you this but you cannot have a healthy diet by not eating vegetables. Healthy people choose to eat ta balanced diet which includes vegetables and learn to like it in order to look good and feel good and hopefully live a long time. It is a choice people make.

i love fast food too!!! try the “healthier” fast food places.. like subway (or most sandwich places), chick-fil-a, innout… munch on pretzles and crackers rather than chips.. drink water, not soda.. eat fish rather than red meat… also, i really think you’d be surprised with how good vegetables can be once they’re cooked and loaded with flavor (like maragarine or a teryaki sauce!)

Eat out less and make a meal at home that is small in portions and is low in the bad stuff. If you make it you will want to make it healthy. If you eat outstay away from deep fried.
