How Popular Are Other Forms Of Smoking In The Philippines?
I was born in the Philippines, and almost my entire family there smokes cigarettes. I understand that cigarettes are very popular there, but how about cigars and pipes, do many people smoke them?

Cigars and pipes are for the rich since they are very expensive here. There is another form of smoking here in the Philippines which is very unique. Old women love to put the burning end of cigarette inside their mouths and hold it there for as long as they can, inhale the smoke without ever opening their mouths.

cigarette smoking is the most popular. you see them everywhere, including underage kids. some old rich men smoke cigars and use pipes. hardly seen in public but could be seen in movies. also not popular is chewing smokeless tobacco (the kind that US baseball players use).
