How Do I Make Sticky Rice With Instant Rice?
I’d like to make the sort of rice you get from chinese restaurants, but all I have is instant rice.
Is there a way to make that sticky rice from instant rice?

well u could first stick honey and serve (jk dosent acually work ha ha) but i would boil the rice just a few minutes longer and let some of the water evaperate. if it dosent work than stick it under some chiken and say (in hillbilly voice) dinners served. haha but the boilling the water thing works just as well. best of luck angel h

NO, sorry. You cannot do it. Sticky rice is a short-grain, high starch rice. Minute Rice has been modified to have less starchiness so it cooks up in a minute.

Cook the rice and keep it in the frig overnight

Well, I looked at answers.com and it said to add a little bit of corn starch to the rice because instant rice is starch-less. And viola!
