How Do I Grain Out A Cow For The Best Meat?what Time Of Year Should I Do It? Thank You?
OK Here’s your answer, having grown up raising the stupid brutes I can tell you the only good cow/steer is one ready for the plate. So select your beast it should never be older than 3yrs. To grain it out you start 6-12 mo b4 you plan to butcher. In northern states the winter is the best time cause the beast will get little exercise. You want to double the amount of it’s normal diet requirements. At Mc Donald’s that’s called supersize me! This is typically 5-6lbs per day. ( it is also necessary to feed hay or it will get colic and die). All that extra carbs and lack of activity will make a well marbled ameri…. cow I mean. The Japanese do this for the entire animals life as well as massages and feeding it beer daily. It costs 300 bucks a steak too! So I guess if you want to take a page from their book fed it beer to. It’s a sick thought but people (Joe six pack w/ the beer belly) especially would be pretty tasty. Maybe that’s why the aliens take some of us. Trying out a new recipe? Now I feel like a lobster in the tank at some restaurant! Thanx!

Sorry, but I have no idea. I just couldn’t resist the temptation to thank Halton for pointing out that I probably have excellent marbling!! I had a good laugh. Now I’m going on a diet lest the aliens find me a tasty morsel!

dagget, you use the cow dung for fertilizer and grow your own veggies. When would you choose to die?
What would be a good time? Every living creature values its life as much as you do. Poor little cow
