How About Sales Tax To Fund Health Care?
But only tax the things that like make you unhealthy. Like a 15% tax on fast food, cigarettes, cigars, soda, snacks, etc. And other things we don’t like need as a society SUVs, fireworks, etc. This way all the unhealthy and dangerous things that mess up your health will be paying for it. What do think? Pretty good huh?

Dude, conservatives are about apopleptic right now, do you want to incur more wrath by bringing up GST or VAT? No, you don’t. Unlike the majority of Brits, we’re armed in this country. Don’t bring it up now, please!

So then the government not only can force you to buy insurance but then by the tax hammer force you into not buying other things
IS there anything you dont want the government to control? At all?

Any tax is BAD TAX. Why don’t we all just declare Obama to be our new benevolent, communist dictator?

Yeah! Then the Government can decide for us, what’s good and what’s bad. No more agonizing over choices!

I don’t see anything negative about that. Nice proposal.
I think we’re the fattest country in the world. Healthy food isn’t something to be afraid of.

Pretty bad. You can’t legislate people to take care of themselves. If you ever worked at a place like 7/11 or next time just visit them in several areas. You will find as the class of the people drops, the junk food isles get larger. Stores will only stock the shelves with what sells. So blaming the stores will not work.
Here is one little rule in the new HSB that is obscure. In 2014 ALL restaurants will have to post the calories, fat, sat fat and a few other facts on their menus. Let’s see how this plays out.

How about a bake sale instead, and you could make little sock puppets, raffle tickets to win a hy-brid, man this just gets better as I think about it.

Hey how about a import tax to fund everything . Then maybe every third world country will not send there junk to the united states to be sold .. Corporations like wal-mart with be the death of this country if Obama don’t beat them to it. If the country got back to making the items and growing food we need. Then stop importing everything from cars to toilet paper. It would make jobs and put money in the people of the united states pockets . The United states was once a powerful and great nation because we did not need every other countries goods. if a country needed it they came to us . Now we are dependent on them and owe everybody . The cheap good is like the Crack and meth on the streets that is killing millions after destroying there lives . Some people can pass up a deal even if it is something they don’t need. It is hard to find a nation the united states don’t owe.. what happens when they collect on those IOU’s?

Do you know that when we treat water to drink, we use arsenic, which is poison to us? We do it to kill bacteria, but in the process poison ourselves. If you think by drinking bottle water that that is better, you’re sadly mistaken. Truth be told, everything that we use for everyday living is bad for us and the environment. So you’re statement is, we should tax everything because it’s all unhealthy & dangerous to us. Even these so called “environmentally safe” products are considered unsafe.
