Can You Subsistute Whole Wheat Flour For All-purpose Flour Outright, Or Do You Need To Amend The Whole Wheat ?
Yes you can substitute it but for recipes that require a raising agent I would add a little more into the recipe as it can make things just a bit heavy. Why not try substituting half the flour for wholewheat first in a recipe and see if you like the flavour and slight texture change? I make half wholewheat bread and my kids like that better than all whole wheat, but they don’t notice my 100% wholewheat pastry! It still increases tha fible and vitamins too.

Depends on what you are making, but I would amend and see how it goes.
