Can You Recommend Some Fruits/vegetables To Plant In My Garden?

I live in the upper Southeast and am planting a this spring. Before this year, we only planted onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and potoatoes, of which I only eat potatoes. Can you more fruts and/or vegetables that take full sun to partial shade? It gets >90 degrees many days. I am interested in trying new things. Thanks, and God bless!!!! =]

First when looking to plant new fruits and/or vegetables, keep in mind the favorites of your family, friends, and so forth this way if you have extra from a good year you can give some to family and friends to show what you have done. If I were to give you some of my best products it would have to be lettuce because you can re-harvest it continuously, green peppers; which if you go with this, I would recommend buying small plants to start them, carrots, watermelon, green beans, peas, and cantaloupe. The biggest thing to keep in mind is to check what kind of conditions these all need along with any plant, and water as need be.

Beans of all sorts…just pick a few…green, wax, lima.
    Peppers of all sorts.
Patches of herbs, you can bury a large pot in the ground…basil, mint, parsley.
Fruits such as strawberries, a blueberry bush, grapes.
Any kind of leaf lettuce, spinach, etc.
Carrots and radishes can be planted together.
Get a seed catalog and try anything you like! Most of vegetable gardening is experimenting with what you like vs. what will grow for you! Have fun with it…makes hoeing and weeding more enjoyable!
