Can You Buy Cigarettes In The Year You Turn 18 Or Only Once You’ve Actually Had Your Birthday?

For example, if someone was born December 15, 1991, could they buy right now or would they have to wait till December 15th?

You have to be at least 18 years old to purchase tobacco. !8 means 18. Not 17 and 360 days old. If you are not actually 18, you cannot legally purchase tobacco. “Almost” doesn’t count.

Not until your birthday. When IDing you, they will check both the year and the day of your birth.
