Can Need Help In Rice Cooking?

I COOKED RICE FOR MORE THAN 45 MINUTES ITS HAS ALREADY BEEN FOR A WHILE AND ITS STILL RAW,HOW CAN I FINISH THE RICE SO IT CAN BE TENDER?

    Have you been stirring it? The trick for rice is to not peek under the lid while it is cooking and do NOT stir it. For white rice, use 2 parts water for 1 part rice. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, put a lid on the pot and time it for 20 min.
    Yes, you can put it is the oven. Cover with a lid and place in a 350 F pre-heated oven. Shouldn’t take any longer than half and hour.

    what type of rice is it? it shouldn’t take that long. did you boil it and cover it to simmer? you may have added too much water and not enough rice.

    I’m guessing you are cooking brown rice. It usually takes around an hour to cook. Make sure it still has liquid and let it keep simmering until the liquid is absorbed. It should be fine.

    wow. there must be something wrong if you have been cooking it for 45 mins and its still not done. either you put too much water or not enough. if it looks too soggy then you have to add rice if theres not water and its hard then you’d have to add some water.
