I used to use them in meatloaf all the time.
melt up some marshmallows and quickly mix with the dry oats, chopped fruit, some cinnamon or other spice. let it get firm in the fridge = instant ‘chewy granola bars’.

You can make granola bars, mix them into yoghurts and fruit smoothies, (put them into the smoothie mix before whizzing it all up.) They also go well on crumble desserts such as apple crumble.
