Are Carrots Good For You And Do They Count As A Serving Of Vegetables?

I know ’re a starch but are still a diet choice?

    according to Jenny Craig, carrots are fine as a vegetable serving as long as it is a small one.
    because there are so many other food items that contain starch, they prefer you choose a more nutritous vegetable.
    Corn is also considered to be a starch and is also on the bottom of the vegetable to eat list.

    Yes carrots are an excellent choice. They do count as a serving. if they’re regular carrots, I think 2 is a serving. If it’s baby carrots, it should say on the bag. They have beta carotene. An even better choice though is spinach. Lots of fiber!
